5th Dan Master Grigg Espinoza started his Martial Arts training in Michigan in 1972 and was teaching Kenpo Karate in Arizona by 1978. He returned to Michigan and in 1979 he started Tae Kwon Do Han Moo Kwan and won an AAU Tae Kwon Do gold medal in 1981. That same year Master Espinoza began kickboxing, competing successfully in the Midwestern circuit.
In 1987, he developed a MLEOTC approved Defensive Tactics class and taught that and other Defensive Tactics classes at area Law Enforcement Academies. Master Espinoza has trained in many styles of Martial Arts and is currently operating Urban Warrior Mixed Martial Arts along with being a Kickboxing Promoter and Tournament Director. |

Yellow Tigers 10th Degree Grand Master Delford Fort started in the martial arts in 1967, and learned Wing Chun under Master Hotz. After receiving a black belt at an early age and after the death of Master Hotz, Fort began training where he could, enrolling into a Tae-Kwon-Do Ji-Do-Kwan school under Mr. Tommy Comings. Later, he learned from greats such as Howard Jackson and Michael Jones. Master Fort has also studied AiKi Ju Jitsu, Judo, Shotokan, Wrestling, and holds a black belt with the Alkebu-Lan Martial Arts Federation. Teaching the Yochin-Ryu (American) style of martial arts with the Yellow Tigers, Master Fort is a member of the Michigan Sport Karate Circuit and is a promoter of tournaments such as his Spirit of Detroit Karate Classic. He has won over 100 Grand Championships and over 400 trophies and awards for his contributions to the martial arts. He has also toured the world as a bodyguard for entertainers such as Prince, Run DMC, Luther Vandross, Snoop Doggy Dog, and others.

Kancho Russette is a 10th degree black belt and founder of the Kihon system. With over fifty years experience, Kancho has been instructing students in Kihon for over thirty years. Shihan Norm Rivard is a 5th degree black belt, and has successfully represented Kihon in full-contact, bare-knuckle competitions in North America and Japan. He has a full contact record of 77-6 with notable wins in New York at the North American Karate Championships, Denver at the Sabaki Challenge, and in Chicago t the U.S. Shidokan National Tournament, the largest knockdown competiton in the United States. |
